Chen Zhuoyu is currently an associate professor at the National Key Laboratory of Quantum Functional Materials and the Department of Physics at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), and also a dual-appointed researcher at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Quantum Science Center. He received his bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University in 2012 and his Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics from Stanford University in 2018.He then conducted postdoctoral research at Stanford University and the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory before joining SUSTech in 2022. His main research focuses on the development of high-temperature superconducting materials and the exploration of their physical mechanisms, employing experimental methods such as oxide thin-film epitaxy, quantum transport, and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. He also serves as a member of the Editorial Working Group for Physical Sciences in National Science Review, a Young Editorial Board Member for Science Bulletin and Chinese Science Bulletin, and a Young Editorial Board Member for Quantum Frontiers.
