Zhao Yue, female,she is an associate professor in the Department of Physics at Southern University of Science and Technology. Her research mainly focuses on quantum transport, scanning tunneling microscopy and other nanotechnology fields. She received her bachelor's degree in Materials Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in July 2005 and her Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from Columbia University in February 2012. From January 2012 to February 2015, she served as a research associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. She has published about 60 papers in SCI journals such as Science, Nature , Physical Review Letters (5 papers, two of which were recommended by the editor, and one 1st author paper was specially introduced by Physics magazine), Nano Letters, Advanced Materials, and Advanced Functional Materials, with a total of over 17,000 citations.

• Focusing on quantum transport study of two-dimensional van der Waals devices and their heterostructure under low temperature and high magnetic field, e.g. graphene and organic magnetic insulator heterostructure devices, twisted graphene devices, etc.

• Developing transport measurement under high pressure, e.g. tuning the interlayer magnetic coupling in magnetic topological insulator materials via high pressure transport study.

• Exploring the surface state of new quantum materials and their devices by scanning tunneling microscopy, e.g. surface state study of bulk MnBi2Te4(Bi2Te3)n and graphene devices.

• Exploring the application of 2D TMDC materials in flexible electronics.
