Personal Profile

Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Southern University of Science and Technology. His primary research areas focus on high-pressure physics, solid-state batteries, and clathrate hydrates, encompassing quantum, energy, and environment-related functional materials. He has long utilized Large Research Infrastructure—including neutron instruments and synchrotron radiation beamlines, to conduct systematic investigations on the structure and properties of advanced materials. He is responsible for the construction and operation of High-Pressure Neutron Diffractometer (CSNS-BL15) and the Extreme Conditions Research Platform of Major Science and Technology Infrastructure Project of Material Genome Big-science Facilities Platform supported by Municipal Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen. He has led and participated in numerous national and provincial research projects, including NSFC General Programs and NSFC/RGC  Joint Research Scheme, the National Key R&D Program for Basic Research of China, Guangdong Provincial Quantum Science Strategic Initiative Projects and Guang dong Basic and Applied Basic Research Programs, Shenzhen Peacock Team Projects, and Shenzhen Fundamental Research Program. He has also contributed to key projects hosted by the Key Laboratories of the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Joint Laboratory, and Guangdong Provincial and Shenzhen Municipal Key Laboratories. To date, he has secured and managed research funding totaling approximately RMB 30 million. He has published over 280 journal articles, authored 2 academic monographs, and contributed to the drafting of 1 industry standard. His publications have accumulated over 7,300 citations, with an h-index of 44. He has filed or authorized more than 60 patents. He serves as a Council Member of the Chinese Crystallographic Society, a Young Editorial Board Member of *Chinese Journal of High Pressure Physics*, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Energy Materials for Electric Power, and a Member of the User Committees for both the Hefei Steady High Magnetic Field Facility and Synergetic Extreme Condition User Facility at Huairou.
